The Carmel Residents Association, established in 1987, is a civic,
social, and, when necessary, political organization whose members are
determined to keep Carmel-by-the-Sea a good place to live as well as a
good place to visit. It is a non-profit 501(c)(4) Public Benefit Corporation,
organized under the laws of the State of California.
The CRA provides a wonderful opportunity for local residents to get acquainted
with their neighbors, develop friendships and become involved in the community.

to the protection and enrichment of the traditional quality of life in
Carmel-by-the-Sea and the preservation of its heritage and natural beauty
through education, community activities and advocacy.
