UPDATED: Members of the Carmel Residents Association and members of the public are invited to an admission-free evening of discussion and debate about water policy on the Monterey Peninsula, starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 25. NOTE: We have a new venue. It is:

Vista Lobos Room, atop the hill next to the free public parking lot on the east side of Junipero Street just south of Third Avenue, Carmel-by-the-Sea. A complimentary glass of wine will be available before the event, and speakers will answer written questions from the audience.

Featured speakers are David J. Stoldt, general manager of the Monterey Peninsula Wastewater Management District; George Riley, managing director of Public Water Now; and Kevin A. Tilden, vice president of California American Water. Stoldt will double as a speaker and moderator.

Get there early for a complimentary glass of wine, with plenty of time to write out your questions.
