As pre-announced by Chip Rerig in his VLOG, the local Black Lives Matter team gathered in Devendorf Park at 3:PM, Saturday June 20th.  This was an extension of their celebration of Juneteenth or Freedom Day.  Great speakers, music and more.

Last night, over 25 CRA members gathered in Anton & Michel's fantastic bar for our first 2020 CRA Happy Hour. It was a great time for all as we met new friends, shared stories and talked about issues in the Village and how the CRA can be a positive force. The CRA is excited to continue to offer casual get-togethers at a local restaurant during Happy Hour. On April 14th we will gather at La Playa’s Bud’s Bar from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. This casual evening will include a no-host bar and small bites from the bar menu. This is a great opportunity to get out and meet your fellow Carmelites! No reservations are required. We look forward to seeing you there. We might even take advantage of their offer to donate $100 to get dime drinks for the house!
