Welcome, dear friends, to the Carmel Residents Association.

We of the CRA are excited to have this fresh redesign and relaunch of our website. We believe the changes we have made will make the site user-friendly for members and non-members alike.

New features recently added to the expanded carmelresidents.org include informative, usable information about the incorporated village and the broader community, as well as short biographies of our Board of Directors to acquaint you with the CRA’s leadership.

We hope that you’ll find the site a reliable source of news for what’s happening with regard to events, programs, member activities and meetings – both our own gatherings and regularly scheduled public meetings at Carmel-by-the-Sea City Hall.

We have created activities with the entire community in mind. Among them are our biennial Carmel City Council Candidates Forum, our Citizen of the Year awards, and our five times yearly CRA meetings, complete with speakers and timely information about issues and personalities important to us. We also share our six-times-yearly issues of The Voice, the best little newspaper in the West. The Voice is mailed to CRA members. The Voice is also handed out free to the public at the Carmel-by-the-Sea post office and distributed free of charge at Harrison Memorial Library, Nielsen Brothers Market, and Bruno’s Market & Deli. And of course every issue is posted in full right here at carmelresidents.org.

Membership has its privileges. For CRA members, we host either a luau or fiesta every year in late summer, a holiday party every December and, sprinkled throughout the year, scrumptious and fun CRA Dines Out! excursions to select local restaurants. There are many more member benefits outlined here on the site for you, including how to become a member.

Take your time to peruse the site. We hope you enjoy it. And we hope you’ll let us know what’s missing, what you would like to see added and what existing features you particularly find helpful.
