Important City Web Page Documents

The CRA encourages everyone to get involved in city government. There are a lot of ways to do this but the first thing you can do is attend as many City meetings as you can. Over time, you will become more knowledgeable about important issues in our Village, you will meet your Council and Commission members, fellow Carmelites and, over time, you will feel more comfortable taking a position and speaking in the public comment sections of the meetings.

Even if you can't attend the meetings in person, you can review the agendas and read the Commission's positions using the links above. You can also watch videos of the meetings live and even watch archived videos of each subject covered at the meeting by clicking on the links imbedded in the agendas!

The City has done a great job of building a great website and making it easier than ever to become engaged in your City Government. So jump in and click to get started.

To jump start you into getting involved...click here to see a video of a recent Planning Commission discussion about a project on Scenic Drive that had come back several times to the Planning Commission. The CRA had been actively commenting on this project and this is a great example of how we can all work together to come up with a compromise solution.
