Please take this important survey collecting the Tourism views of residents, employees and businesses in Carmel-by-the-Sea and surrounding areas. This is part of a larger effort — funded through the City of Carmel to secure community input into a report and propose recommendations in the months to come. Only 50% of the completed surveys so far are from residents. If you haven't yet - your resident's voice is critical.

This survey was developed and is managed by an outside professional research firm, SMARInsights. All responses will be collected, compiled, and kept completely confidential by the research firm. Please expect about 15 minutes answering the questions. The initial round of results will be shared at the community town hall Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.
