Important Civic Meetings - Chime In!

* Update on the Housing Element Public Review  - seeking guidance from Council on significant important policy items. Staff Report HERE
* City Fee Schedule Updates - that would take effect Sept 9th if approved, many adjustments proposed intended to address cost recovery for services provided. Staff Report HERE.

Wednesday July 12th 6-8 PM at Vista Lobos (Torres St north of 4th Ave) - Community Workshop on the Forest Master Plan

For those of you especially concerned about the health, safety and future of the Forest in our Village by the Sea should attend. From climate change, to recent storms impact, to disease and aging of our cherished trees - the Steering Committee members and consultants will be gathering your feedback live that will guide the revisions in the updating of the Village Forest Master Plan.

Looking Ahead - A Special Meeting on the revised Wireless/Cell Tower Ordinance it targeted for early August (more here).  And the latest 5th & Dolores plans are requesting approval in the early August Planning Commission meeting (more here).

This year's Greek feast is created by the award-winning chef & owner of Woody's at the Airport, Tim Woods.

  • Reservations – CRA Members*, plus your welcome guest(s) of 1, 2 or 3 are $50 per person with your online payment (above and HERE ). Or you can contact Nancy at (650-740-3477) who can take your reservations live. Your guests can be members or non-members. The last day for reservations is August 25th

Residents & Visitors were blessed by the magic of music performed by our Monterey County Pops July 4th in Devendorf Park.  It was complimented by the addition of a barbershop performance by Monterey Peninsula Cypressaires
Thanks to our amazing City Staff in Community Activities, Public Works and Volunteer VIPS for their efforts to deliver a quintessential Carmel-by-the-Sea 4th!
