Visit the City's Address webpage HERE for guides and details. All USPS mailed items continue to be picked up in your PO Box at the Post Office. Formal address notice postcards were sent to property owners. HERE is an example.
AND if you received a Carmel-by-the-Sea Voter postcard...be sure to read this City weblink regarding the November Election & your Address Updates. Ballots were sent to your postal address on file. Yet, the Monterey Council Elections office is requesting you reach out to them to assure future correct physical address related election handling.
Our local Utilities will be updating your physical address in their records and details over time based on the information provided by City Hall. Generally, you shouldn't need to contact them.
Your personal financial/banking/insurance relationships may benefit from you updating your location information with your physical address. If you have a residential alarm system, this vendor should be updated by you. Updating your physical address details can be done over time in many cases - for example your passport or license upon renewal. If your residence is a part of a multi-unit building, some of these will benefit from your proactive personal outreach for accuracy.
Details, press and background are on the CRA Addresses page HERE
