May 15th 2025 - CRA's Members Only Annual Meeting
Exploring Tourism in Carmel
This year CRA hosted the leaders from Visit Carmel, Carmel Chamber and See Monterey for a Q&A session. We learned more on how our local tourism organizations are funded, how their efforts are different yet complement each other, including how our tourism and our residential community interconnect. Also at this annual CRA Meeting, we introduced our newest Board Members, provided highlights on organizational health, our offerings, and our participation with City projects and area nonprofits. Plus we presented our Business Recognition award - honoring Little Napoli & the Pepe Family!
We enjoyed casual exchanges with finger foods, wines, and waters, immediately after this program and checked out the best view of Point Lobos and our Village. Thanks to everyone who joined us.

May 15th - Special Workshop City Coastal Hazards Local Program Update

Tuesday May 20th 3:30 - Special Joint City Council & Planning Commission review of DRAFT Housing Element Amendment
This will be held in Council Chambers - on this special day and time. This represents 1000's of hours of Staff and AHA/Citizens preparation in the past year - with the goal of removing the City Owned Sites from our Housing plans. Wednesday May 21th 3:30 - Special FY2025/2026 Budget & Priorities Workshop
This will be held in Council Chambers - on this special day and time HERE is the full Staff Report, with sub topics as follows: Here 1. Priority Project List and Provide Direction on the Project List Here 2. Receive a presentation on the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Recommended Budget and provide direction Here 3. CRA's Annual Feast in the Forest for CRA Members and their Guests -Saturday September 13th - at Indian Village in Pebble Beach
Be sure to save the date. This year's theme will be tropical/polynesian - and once again Tim Wood will be our Chef-Caterer! There will be great music and great auction items too.
