  • Who was the architect of the original Seventeen-Mile Drive?

And he has a new book upcoming that with new content, sharing all new highlights not yet published.  John will reveal interesting and important details about the hotel's origins that historians have missed.  You will hear how the widely accepted and repeated statements by historians on Crocker's development of the resort now needs to be rewritten.  And of course, he includes how the hotel was a significant factor in putting Monterey on the world "destination" map for travelers of means.
