AIAMB Lecture Series
AIAMB had a great start to our 2020 Arts + Architecture Lecture Series Creating the Architecture of the Monterey Peninsula with a wonderful wine and food filled reception sponsored by the Carmel Heritage Society.   Tickets are required.

British born, Berkeley based Henry Hill was one of the most prolific and talented architects in Northern California. His seminal projects were featured in exhibits and magazines nationally and abroad. Pierluigi Serraino, AIA will trace the network of influences Hill was part of as well as highlights from his prodigious output, many of his designs built in Monterey Bay.

Followed by reception at First Murphy House, NW corner of Lincoln and Sixth, Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Practicing Architect and Design Agitator, Pierluigi’s projects and writings have been published in journals such as Architectural Record, A+U (Japan), and The Architectural Review (UK). Among his book Modernism Rediscovered (Taschen, 2000), The Creative Architect: Inside the Great Personality Study (Monacelli Press, 2016), and most recently Ezra Stoller: A Photographic History of Modern American Architecture (Phaidon, 2019).
