CIVIC Meetings  in August 

  • The Housing Element for our Village has been approved and submitted to Sacramento for their 90 day review. Impressive work by City Staff - but there is much more to do and consider in the months ahead. (here)
  • The newest 5th & Dolores plans are requesting approval in the early August Planning Commission meeting August 9th (here).

  • A Special Meeting on the revised Wireless/Cell Tower Ordinance is planned for August  23rd  (here). New drafts are now available for review.

  • A half yearly City Strategic Priorities Review is planned for August 30th in Sunset Center. (here) Juggling projects & needs across time, people and $'s.

  • Wed, Aug 16, 10am - 4pm. Concours for a Cause: An appreciation of electric vehicle conversions and local vendors. Location: Mission and Sixth Avenues around Devendorf Park.

  • Thurs, Aug 17, 11am - 4pm. Prancing Ponies on Ocean Avenue: A Women's Car Show and Fundraiser for Prancing Ponies Foundation 'Creating Women Leaders One Girl at a Time'. Location: Ocean Avenue between Junipero and San Carlos.

  • Thurs, Aug 17, 9am - 3:30pm. Ferrari Owners Club’s Concours Carmel: A judged concours of curated vintage and modern Ferraris, plus Italian motorcycles. Location: Dolores Street b/w Ocean and Seventh Ave
