Please Consider These Worthy Local Causes

Fund Carmel High Travel Costs to Mock Trial World Championship

CHS Mock Trial Team's winning streak began in 2005 - going forward to this day. Again our CHS Mock Trial team, with its stellar record, is for a second time set to compete at the October’s Empire World Championships in Chicago. Funding to cover travel, hotel and meals must come from private sources, requiring $35,000 by mid-September.  To make your tax-deductible donation:

By check: make it payable to  “Carmel High School Associated Student Body” mailing it to “CHS Mock Trial Team at PO Box 21, Carmel, Ca 93921”.

Or by credit card: go online to donations and be sure to select the CHS Mock Trial Team program.

Preservation of our iconic Carmel Map, by Bill Bates

This iconic Carmel-by-the-Sea public piece of art, the Bill Bates Carmel Map next to Nielsens Market & Deli is a landmark we all know and walk by often if not daily.

Now over 40 years old, experiencing signs of age and unfortunate recent graffiti, this Map is in critical need of significant restoration and enhanced preservation.  Efforts are already underway to collaborate with local professionals and artistic talent, and with your tax-deductible donations.

Please also join us in contributing to this significant cause with what you can. Go online to donations page and select the Bates Carmel Map Restoration program fund.

Thank you for giving to:
a piece of our past (Map) and our future (CHS Leaders)
