PG&E Storm Inconvenience Bill Credit - from 2025 Holidays Outage
Due to the storm over the holiday, if you went without power for 48 hours or longer due to a storm or other major weather-related event, you may qualify for a PG&E Storm Inconvenience Bill Credit (Storm Inconvenience Payments aka “SafetyNet”).
If you are eligible, you do not need to apply. You will automatically receive a bill credit on your PG&E Energy Statement. You are eligible if: * You are a PG&E electric residential customer. Enrollment in programs such as CARE or Medical Baseline Allowance does not impact eligibility. * Your PG&E residential account is in good standing at the time of the outage and at the time PG&E issues payment (typically 45-60 days after the event). * You experienced a power outage for 48 consecutive hours or longer during a major weather-related event. * The extended outage is the result of a major weather-related event that caused significant damage to PG&E’s electric distribution system.
PG&E issues Storm Inconvenience Bill Credits in increments of $25, with a $100 maximum bill credit per storm. Bill Credit levels are based on the length of your outage: 48 to 72 hours: $25 72 to 96 hours: $50 96 to 120 hours: $75 120 hours or more: $100

Carmel Art Association - Community Plea
As covered in today's Carmel Pine Cone cover article HERE, this invaluable historic resource is requesting support to help fund this restoration project. (quote from article)
" Carmel Foundation undertook roughly $600,000 worth of shoring and repairs that were completed a couple of months ago — redoing the interior of a damaged apartment is next — and the art association launched a campaign in October 2025 to raise $400,000 to restore the foundation of its historic building and repair its sagging floors and cracking walls and ceiling."
Any contribution to this fund raising will be appreciated. Donate throught the Community Foundation for Monterey County HERE (cfmco.org/CarmelArt)
